The sun has finally got its hat on and everyone is making the most of the glorious weather, as we all know its short lived in Glasgow!

Luckily, here at Arta it’s always summertime as we take pleasure transporting you from Albion Street to a luxurious Spanish hacienda.

The listed building boasts countless breath-taking oil paintings, a fine collection of antique furniture and objets d’arts, beautiful hand carved marble statues as well as an exotic variety of stunning artefacts and fantastic curios, Arta is a magnificent three storey labour of love.

Our tapas restaurant aims to create a Spanish and Scottish fusion, cultivating flavours using a mezcla of locally sourced Scottish ingredients along with more peculiar Spanish elements.

The menu hosts tapas classics such as meatballs, gambas pil pil and patatas bravas whilst, for the more adventurous diner, our bestselling scallops and morcilla may be more up their street, not forgetting scorched padron peppers with smoked sea salt.

On Thursdays we serve Salsa Realness in our main bar as couple’s twirl around the floor until the early hours of Friday morning. All that dancing isn’t done on an empty stomach though, our restaurant opens at 5pm and our 3 tapas for £12 goes down a treat.

Fridays are officially the weekend and we celebrate with free club entry for all! Our infamous couples deal is £29 and is the whole package, a bottle of wine to share, bread, olives and balsamic along with 6 tempting tapas.

We kick off at 12.30 on Saturdays, our Spanish Afternoon Tea is in high demand and with sangria free flowing it’s the perfect way to spend the day with your favourite folk. For large parties our tapas experience menu goes down a storm, as it includes 6 firm tapas favourites and a traditional Crème Catalana to finish off.
